Ojama

Ojama is light attribute beast type series with a funny looking appearance. All Ojama monsters have 0 ATK leaving them vulnerable to most monster. Not to mention they are normal monsters leaving them with no effect to support themselves. That is before the appearance of Ojama Red and Ojama Blue that is.

Ojama Blue gives hand control to set up for a nasty Ojama OTK involving Ojama Delta Hurricane and Ojama Country. While Ojama Red give the swarming capability to meet the condition of activating Ojama Delta Hurricane.

When Ojama Blue is destroyed by battle, player can add 2 Ojama cards from their deck to hand which also include the spell or traps.

List of cards addable to hand from deck via Ojama Blue's effect.
- Ojama Red
- Ojama Blue
- Ojama Yellow
- Ojama Black
- Ojama Green
- Ojama Country
- Ojama Delta Hurricane
Ojamagic
- Ojamuscle
- Ojama Trio

Ojama Blue is easily searchable by itself or Sangan. It is also searchable by Super Nimble Mega Hamster. Most Ojama monsters, including Ojama Blue can be recycle via Speed Bird's effect. Speed Bird only negate the monster it summon while on the field, thus when Ojama Blue is destroted by battle again, you can add another 2 Ojama cards to your hand.

Another cards that can boost up the swarming and draw power will be Tri-wight and White Elephant's Gift. White Elephant's Gift usually gives you a -2 and +2 for the cards used and drawn. however you might need to normal summon the non-effect monster before activating it. Tri-wight can lift up those disadvatages and gives you with a +2 since that you dont actually need to normal summon those normal monsters. Just need to send at least 3 of those normal monster to grave first. Below are the recommended card to included in such Ojama deck and need to note that Gachi Gachi Gantetsu is very valuable in this deck thanks to the easiness of level 2 swarm and Ojama Country which switches the ATK and DEF of every monster on the field which gives you an xyz monster with 2200 ATK that cannot be destroyed up to twice. The ATK boost can also be stack with another Gachi Gachi Gantetsu which if played correctly, you can destroy every cards opponent control using Ojama Delta Hurricane and swarm the field with 3 Gachi Gachi Gantetsu with 3000 ATK each. But remember to at least leave 1 Ojama monster face up on the field to ensure ATK and DEF switch is on.

Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis

This is my most favourite plant type monster up to date. Most other people use plant effect and support for swarming and destruction but I rather use them for defense and burn. Although this card is card cannot be special summon via Lonefire Blossom and most other cards, but it is rather easy to summon it by having this card and Phoenixian Seed in your hand or can just special this card via its effect. Just dump it in the grave using Foolish Burial, Hand Destruction, Card Destruction, Trade-in or something. As long as you can keep a fresh stock of plant monster in your grave, this card will always return to your field.

Being able to inflict 800 damage when it is destroyed, means your opponent will lose once its effect is activated for the tenth times. Unless of course if your opponent has a effect damage negation ability such as Black Winged Dragon, Dragon Knight Draco Equiste, Life Stream Dragon and so on. Also if your opponent has and outstanding life recovering abilities such as Soul Absorption and psychic monster. Soul Absorption is this card deadly weaknesses, as most likely that the deck contains Soul Absorption would tend to include Dimensional Fissure or Macro Cosmos which will shut this card effect once and for all.

Nevertheless, below are the recommended cards.

Phoenixian Burn Deck

Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis
Phoenixian Seed
Naturia Beans
Cherry Inmato
Inmato
Spore
Lonefire Blossom
Dandylion
Lord Poison
Botanical Girl
Bird of Roses
Pot of Duality
The World Tree
Seed Cannon
Wave-motion Cannon
Hand Destruction
Card Destruction
Foolish Burial
Magic Cylinder
Dimensional Prison

You can also include Dark Room of Nightmare to increase the burn damage if you like, but i think even without it, this deck has enough burn damage already to burn even more than 20000 life points.

Feel free to try it.

Laval

Laval is a fire type series which is almost same like other fire archtypes focus on mill and to certain extent removal. Contrary to another archtype Flamvell who's only focuses on milling, Laval is a bit flexible due to the easy milling ability gained from Laval Miller, Laval Chain and Molten Conduction Field.

Like most other fire deck, Laval also receive support from the most favourite fire support card, Rekindling. However, it is only limited to some of the Laval monster which mostly tuners such as Laval Forest Sprite, Laval Volcano Handmaiden and Laval Lakeside Lady. While the non-tuners eligible for rekindling effect would be Laval Lancelord, Laval Magma Cannoneer and Laval Dual Slasher.

Depend on each individual preferences, Laval deck can be build either way. As for removal, it is advisable to include Dustflame Blast to act as a trump card clearing up the field for your direct attacks, but watch out for Stardust Dragon or Starlight Road. Note that Searing Fire Wall can act as a defense, tuning and prevention such as from opponent's Monster Reborn, Autonomous Action Unit or Evigishki Mind Augus. Burgeoning Whirlflame also works that way as its effect of returning it self to the hand can be activated during either player's turn. Sealing Ceremony of Katon also another way, but it also affects opponent's grave as more card that target graveyard or deck with graveyard based strategies. Flamvell Counter also gives your deck the ability to negate troublesome spell or trap at the cost of removing your monster that is which I think actually sets your strategy for Laval Cannon.

Thanks to the easiness of milling from Laval Volcano Handmaiden, Laval Lakeside Lady can bring out its full potential to destroy set card on the field without affecting your hand. The remove monster can be bring back via Laval Cannon, and Laval Cannon can be recycle using The Warrior Returning Alive. An unfortunate Laval Cannon that was removed such as from Bottomless Trap Hole or Dimensional Prison, can be return back through Laval Lancelord. The fact that Laval Lancelord is level 6 making it harder to bring out, even with its effect that allow summon without tribute. This is because it only stays on the field for 1 turn unless if opponent destroy it using Mirror Force, Sakuretsu Armor and so fort which in most case might not be happening. Luckily, Laval Lancelord can be easily swarm to the field using Flamvell Firedog's effect.

Note that Some of the Laval monster are named "Lavalval", it is still treated as Laval monster due the word "L-A-V-A-L-val" is there. Actually same case applies for other common archtypes such as, between Six Samurai and Legendary Six Samurai or Gishki and Evigishki.

Glow-Up Bulb and Spore

Some people questioned why these 2 card is banned and limited as it weak and low level.
But I'm sure most of those people out there realize why these cards is banned even though I'm pretty sure they're not very happy about it.

First of all, Glow-Up Bulb and Spore is tuner. A tuner that can special summon itself is very useful in synchro deck.

Especially since the release of Rescue Rabbit. Any tuner monster that can special summon it self provide a synchro opportunity when combine with Rescue Rabbit.

For example: if you just have Rescue Rabbit in your hand, usually most people would go for a rank 4 or 3 xyz monster such as Evolzzar Lagia, No. 39 Utopia, No. 17 Leviathan Dragon etc. But with Glow-Up Bulb existing in your grave, give you the chance to play either Level 9, 7 or 5 synchro monster among which might be Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier that allows you to banish 1 opponent's card each from field, grave and randomly from their hand. Luckily Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier is also banned, but still such trick can be use for Mist Wurm or Black Rose Dragon.

If I said because it is a tuner and can special summon it self, why is it Plaguespreader Zombie and Tech Genus Striker is just limited whilst Glow-Up Bulb and Spore would go all the way from standard to being banned. It is because of the special summoning condition. Using Plaguespreader Zombie and Tech Genus Striker can also apply the trick as above for a level 10, 8, 6 or 4 synchros. But in order to do that you still have to be in possession of 2 cards in hand. Due to that advantage of using 1 less hand card for the trick, might be the reason of Glow-Up Bulb and Spore being banned.

But I'll say to compare to Spore, Glow-Up Bulb is more more flexible as it can be included in any deck while Spore's effects must be combined with other plant type monster.

Plus, being level 1 makes very flexible to become a tuner for most synchro monsters as long as the synchro monster doesn't require a specific tuner of course.

This two card is probably banned due to the high rate of abuse such as in a Hero Quasar deck. having just particularly 1 specific card which is Future Fusion, can allow you summon Shooting Quasar Dragon in a turn even you first turn without any other specific cards need to be in your hand or grave as long as below cards is in your deck and extra deck.

Glow-Up Bulb
Plaguespreader Zombie
Spore
Blackwing Zephyros the Elite
Volcanic Shell, Level Eater
Dandylion
Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
Tech Genus Hyper Librarian

X-Saber

X-Saber is one of the earlier series when synchro summon is introduced. One of my favourite too. X-Saber kicks off their appearance with a lot of non-synchro based card. For example like X-Saber Anu Piranha which is a normal monster, X-Saber Galahad that gain 300 ATK while attacking but loses 500 ATK when attacked, X-Saber Axel which gives you extra card when other X-Saber monster is destroyed by battle which definitely not gonna happen very frequently as X-Saber Axel has a very low ATK and DEF in order to maintain it on the field. Only X-Saber Airbellum of the earlier generation can be consider worthy of being included in current X-Saber deck as it is a level 3 with 1600 ATK and the ability to dispose 1 card opponent control when it attack directly and also X-Saber Pashuul that cannot be destroyed by battle but you take 1000 damage each turn if it is stayed in defense position. Even the earlier synchro monster is not that strong either which is X-Saber Wayne and X-Saber Urbellum.

However, with the appearance of the XX-Saber monsters more like an improved version which still consider X-Saber monsters, X-Saber has becoming quite strong with a lot of destructive power which can be gain from XX-Saber Hyunlei and Saber Slash.

Even with this improvement, X-Saber is not yet stable as they lack in draw power and deck searcher, which is why most player like to combine X-Saber with Lightsworn as X-Saber has the ability to recover their monsters from the grave by the effect of XX-Saber Ragigura, XX-Saber Faultroll and Gottom's Emergency Call. By including The Warrior Returning Alive also can help to recover back XX-Saber Faultroll.

The Warrior Returning Alive
Reinforcement of the Army
Charge of the Light Brigade
Solar Recharge
Gottom's Emergency Call
X-Saber Wayne
XX-Saber Hyunlei
X-Saber Urbellum
XX-Saber Gottom

Forcing most of your card to the grave via Lightsworn gives you the ability to recover it via XX-Saber Faultroll, XX-Saber Ragigura and Gottom's Emergency Call. This is what it looks like for the previous X-Saber deck. But thanks to several new X-Saber release such as XX-Saber Darksoul for deck searcher and XX-Saber Boggart Knight for quick swarm, it has become a stable deck without the need of other cards support.

X-Saber Wayne
XX-Saber Hyunlei

XX-Saber Gottom
M-X-Saber Invoker

The most dangerous weapon for an X-Saber deck is Mass Driver and Dark Strike Fighter as these 2 cards has no limit on inflicting damage per turn as long as you can keep providing monster you control to be sacrifice.

The combo requires 2 XX-Saber Faultroll, 1 XX-Saber Ragigura and either XX-Saber Gardestrike or XX-Saber Boggart Knight. Between the first 3 cards the 2 XX-Saber Faultroll and 1 XX-Saber Ragigura, at least 1 of these 3 cards must be in your hand the others can be in your grave.

If you happen to have at least 2 X-Saber monster in your grave, XX-Saber Gardestrike can be special summon when you have no monsters. Then normal summon XX-Saber Ragigura, or for XX-Saber Boggart Knight, normal summon which allow you to special summon XX-Saber Ragigura. If the XX-Saber Faultroll is/are in your grave, you can return it back to you hand. Since you control 2 X-Saber monsters, you can special summon XX-Saber Faultroll, If you have either Mass Driver or Dark Strike Fighter, you can start infilicting an infinite amount of effect damage. For example if you have Mass Driver, use its effect to tribute XX-Saber Ragigura to inflict 400 damage. Then use XX-Saber Faultroll effect to special summon XX-Saber Ragigura which allow you to return the other XX-Saber Faultroll in your grave back to your hand. You can special summon the other XX-Saber Faultroll and tribute both the earlier XX-Saber Faultroll and XX-Saber Ragigura to inflict 400 damage twice. Use the newly summoned XX-Saber Faultroll to special summon XX-Saber Ragigura which enables you to return the tributed XX-Saber Faultroll back to your hand. and the cycle can be continues until you opponent's life point is depleted in that very same turn.

Same combo can be used by using the effect of Dark Strike Fighter. Due to this, these 2 cards is banned. But same combo can be done by using Cannon Soldier, Cannon Soldier MK-3 or Amazoness Archer which is not in the ban list, yet.

X-Saber Exodia deck

X-Saber Axel
X-Saber Palomuro
XX-Saber Emmersblade
XX-Saber Darksoul
XX-Saber Faultroll
XX-Saber Boggart Knight
Giant Rat
Exodia The Forbidden One
Left Arm of the Forbidden One
Left Leg of the Forbidden One
Right Arm of the Forbidden One
Right Leg of the Forbidden One
One for One
Foolish Burial
Inferno Reckless Summon
Gottom's Emergency Call
Rainbow Life

As weak as the X-Saber Axel, it does have its advantage as it can lead to an infinite draw when combine with X-Saber Palomuro and Rainbow Life. This can be done from the third turn onward as it requires you to attack and Rainbow Life need to be set first. Assuming on your first turn you get to set Rainbow Life, one your next turn, Make sure that you have at least 1 X-Saber Axel on your field, 2 X-Saber Palomuro in your grave or field. You need to control at least 2 X-Saber monsters, One of them must be X-Saber Axel.

Activate Rainbow Life which recover your life points instead of taking damage this turn. Assuming if you have X-Saber Axel and X-Saber Palomuro on you field and another X-Saber Palomuro in you grave, after activating Rainbow Life, enter the battle phase and attack opponents monster with X-Saber Palomuro and it must be destroyed in battle, any damage taken this turn will recover your life points instead thanks to Rainbow Life while the other X-Saber Palomuro in your grave will activate its effect, by paying 500 life points allowing you to special summon it. at the same time, due to X-Saber monster destroyed by battle, you get to draw 1 for every X-Saber Axel you control. same cycle can be continued until you've drawn all the pieces of Exodia, unless if opponent eliminate your X-Saber Axel or X-Saber Palomuro except by battle.

Key card for an X-Saber deck is definitely Gottom's Emergency Call as it allows you to initiate the swarm and gives you the ability to synchro summon and special summon XX-Saber Faultroll.

Synchron

Synchron is a series consist of mostly tuner monster. Synchron is deck is used by Yusei Fudo in Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's except for Fleur Synchron which is used by Sherry Leblanc. Among all these Synchron tuners, the one that has the major appearance since the beginning of the season is Junk Synchron (1st from top right).

Some of these Synchron tuners have their synchron counter parts which require them to the exact tuner to summon it. It is almost like an evolution from these weak tuners, to a stronger synchro monster.

For example:

Junk Synchron
- Junk Warrior (Level 5)
- Junk Gardna (Level 6)
- Junk Archer (Level 7)
- Junk Berserker (Level 7)
- Junk Destroyer (Level 8)

Nitro Synchron
- Nitro Warrior (Level 7)

Turbo Sychron
- Turbo Warrior (Level 6)

Road Synchron
- Road Warrior (Level 8)

Drill Synchron
- Drill Warrior (Level 6)

Fleur Synchron
- Chevalier De Fleur (Level 8)

A major key card in order to construct a Synchron deck using the above synchro monster is Quickdraw Synchron as it can be use as substitude for any synchro monster that requires a tuner with Synchron in its name and it can be special summon easily by dumping 1 monster in your hand to grave. There are a lot of trick to easily summon any of these synchro monster using Quickdraw Synchron. You can dump the following monster for Quickdraw Synchron's effect for easy synchro.

Quickdraw Synchron + Quillbolt Hedgehog = Junk Archer, Junk Berserker or Nitro Warrior
Quickdraw Synchron + Dandylion = Turbo Warrior, Drill WarriorJunk GardnaJunk Archer, Junk Berserker or Nitro Warrior
Quickdraw Synchron + Level Eater = Junk Warrior

These 3 is the most basic combo using Quickdraw Synchron. But, remember as Quickdraw Synchron dump 1 monster card from your hand to grave to special summon it, it quickly drain up your hand. So, if you lost the synchro monster you summoned by opponent's Bottomless Trap Hole, Solemn Warning, Solemn Judgment and so fort, practically you will have no back up.

Thus it is usually suggested to include protection cards like Dark Bribe, Seven Tools of the Bandit or Royal Decree. Most people consider Seven Tools of the Bandit is quite traditional as it is an old card which negates the effect of opponent's trap at the cost of 1000 LP. But me personally, I rather include it in my deck to compare to Dark Bribe whereby it can negates opponent's spell or trap but afterward, opponent's get to draw a card. The only reason that you might want opponents to draw more cards, if they are using an Infernity deck.If not, giving opponent just even extra 1 card, can put you to a major disadvantage.

Sometimes you might also want to make use of Hyper Synchron's special effect to boost the power of your dragon-type synchro monster. You might want to try the below deck. Just for fun, who knows you might be able to improve it.

But the above deck definitely isn't that good either, it's just a way how to make full use of Hyper Synchron in addition to Quillbolt Hedgehog that gain advantage from Imperial Iron Wall and searchable via Tuning.

Stardust Dragon
Mist Wurm

The deck focused on using the Inferno Reckless Summon or Machine duplication to call out as many Tuningware or Darksea Rescue to the field. As the name suggest, Inferno reckless summon did gave opponent the ability to swarm the field. But if you combine it with either Junk Synchron or Debris dragon, u should be able to  clear out most of opponent cards.

For example:

Normal summon Junk Synchron which allow special summon of Tuningware. Activate Inferno Reckless Summon, gives you 2 more Tuningware with its effect still intact allowing you to treat it as level 2 when use for synchro summon.

You can either summon:

Junk Destroyer - Lost 2 hand cards, destroy up to 3 cards on the field and draw 3 cards 2600 ATK beatstickers.
Junk Gardna - Lost 2 hand cards, draw 3 cards and formidable defense.
Black Rose Dragon - Lost 2 hand cards, clear the field and draw 3 cards.

Normal summon Debris Dragon which allow special summon of Tuningware. Activate Inferno Reckless Summon, gives you 2 more Tuningware with its effect still intact allowing you to treat it as level 2 when use for synchro summon.

You  can either summon:

Black Rose Dragon - Lost 2 hand cards, clear the field, draw 3 cards.
Stardust Dragon - Lost 2 hand cards, draw 3 cards and able negate destruction effects.
Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier - Lost 2 hand cards, draw 3 cards and remove 1 card that pose a threat each from opponent's grave field and randomly from opponent's hand.

But, note that on March 2012, Trishula, the Dragon of the Ice Barrier is banned seeming that its effect is quite broken and due to the easiness to summon it to compare to the beginning of Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's season.

Drill Warrior Lock Deck

Drill Synchron
Spell Striker
Quickdraw Synchron
Dandylion
Swift Scarecrow
Level Eater
Synchron Explorer
Zero Gardna
Scapegoat
Fires of Doomsday
Mind Control
One for One
Foolish Burial
Royal Decree
Drill Warrior

Above deck mainly focuses on summoning Drill Warrior, you ca include other synchro monsters as well in the extra deck, it's just that I want to show how is the lock works. The lock works if you have Drill Warrior on your field and at least 2 card from your hand which 1 of them must be Swift Scarecrow.

You can halve Drill Warrior's ATK in order to have it attack directly. After attacking, during your main phase 2, discard 1 card to remove it from play, remember not to choose Swift Scarecrow for this. By right you should have no monster you control. If opponent happens to have a monster to attack you directly, just activate Swift Scarecrow's effect by discarding it to grave to negate the attack and end the battle phase. During your next standby phase, Drill Warrior will return to your field with its full ATK. In addition, due to effect, you get to return 1 monster from you grave to your hand, obvious choice will be Swift Scarecrow. Since that you already draw this turn and plus the Swift Scarecrow is returned to your hand due to Drill Warrior's effect, the same combo can be done over and over and over again until opponent's life point is depleted by your direct attacks. You can also do similar combo using Zero Gardna, but you are required to normal summon it.

Key card for Synchron series is Tuning as it helps you search for any Synchron tuner monster from your deck which gives you the ability to control which monster you need to have in your hand.

Gallis the Star Beast

Gallis the Star Beast is a level 3 effect monster is not included in the banlist up to March 2012. The design of this card is quite nice, I'll give 7 out of 10.

Gallis the Star Beast is famous of it FTK. a combo which can be done by having 3 specific monster in your hand by using a full fledge monster only deck. It is sure a success if you manage to draw the 3 cards. Such card is of course Gallis the Star Beast, Koa'ki Meiru Doom and Genex Ally Birdman.

Gallis Effect Damage OTK/FTK

Gallis the Star Beast
Koa'ki Meiru Doom
Koa'ki Meiru Boulder
Genex Neutron
Genex Ally Birdman
Giant Rat
Gorz the Emissary of Darkness
Tragoedia
Beast King Barbaros
Battle Fader
Sangan
Cyber Valley
Swift Scarecrow
Fire Ant Ascator
Oracle of the Sun
Cockroach Knight
Sun Dragon Inti

If you have all 3 necessary cards in your hand you can inflict as many damage possible to opponent as long as there is a Cockroach Knight in you deck.

First, Normal Summon Koa'ki Meiru Doom, Then activate Gallis the Star Beast effect to send the top card of your deck to grave, since that this deck consist only monsters, definitely 100% chance of success. 200 damage times the sent monster's level is inflicted and Gallis the Star Beast is special summoned. Afterwards, activate Genex Ally Birdman's effect to return Gallis the Star Beast you control to your hand to special summon it. Genex Ally Birdman is dark monster. Therefore, Koa'ki Meiru Doom will negate its effect and it doesn't special summon it self and remains at your hand. Meanwhile, Gallis the Star Beast is returned to your hand due to the cost to activate Genex Ally Birdman's effect. You can keep activating Gallis the Star Beast and Genex Ally Birdman's effect subsequently to inflict damage to your opponent. Supposedly, the damage is limited to the total level of monsters that remain in you deck, but thanks to Cockroach Knight that is return to the top of your deck each it is sent to grave, you wont be deck out and infinite amount of effect damage ca be inflicted. Note that it is almost the same combo if you include Outstanding Dog Marron instead.

This deck is double edge deck as the OTK cannot be done if opponent has a face-up Skill Drain as your Koa'ki Meiru Doom's effect is negated or if opponent happen to have Fiendish Chain of Forbidden Chalice. Such card can stop this combo from looping and you might be opened for opponent OTK while searching for the 3 cards.

Pot of Avarice

To tell you the truth, not many deck can fit 2 to 3 copies of this card. as it will just be a dead draw if you don't have at least 5 monster cards in your grave. if you include just 1 copy, it might serve your deck well as you can recycle 5 monsters back to your deck and draw 2 cards. So, why is this card limited?

This card can also be a draw power for Lightsworn deck as they self mill quite fast, so most of your monster will be in your grave, but a normal Lightsworn user wouldn't return all Lightsworn monster that was milled as it will become ineffective. But still, 3 copies of Pot of Avarice can help with the draw power of an aggressive self mill Lightsworn deck.

Also, due to some monster effects that can special summon another monster from deck such as Giant Rat, Mystic Tomato, Nova Summoner, Gusto Gulldo, Gusto Egul etc. In addition to the infamous new Reborn Tengu as it has become very popular. A lv 4 1800 power house with ability to special summon another Reborn Tengu from deck when it is removed from the field. Could be destroyed by battle or card effects, removed by Dimensional Prison, return by Compulsory Evacuation Device or sent to grave for synchro or tribute.

Including the popular Rescue Rabbit as it removed it self to special summon 2 normal monster of the same name from your deck and use it for xyz summon. in case if the xyz monster is destroyed, you have at least 3 monster in your grave.

This shown  that it is very easy to set several monsters to the grave, and using Pot of Avarice to recycle them over is definitely be very helpful as it also provide draw power. Since that sending monsters to grave is actually quite easy for current meta game, this card become almost as outstanding as the infamous Pot of Greed.

Fortune Lady

This is another one of my favourite series. Consist of girl-only character, seriously doesn't suite my style.
But then again, I love the combination of their abilities. One of the series that is to be used by intermediate or above player, as they are quite tricky and can adapt to many situation.

I'll say, even the facts that there are only 6 monster for this archtype, but I'll say they are quite complete with several support from other cards of course.

Consist of each one attribute which is light, dark, fire, water, wind and earth, make it looks stylish but for that, this deck will face a problem against a deck containing Gozen Match as it prevent you from swarming your field.

Fortune Lady is an all round having an amazing draw power and swarming capability. Not to mention the destructive power from Fortune Lady Fire and Fortune Lady Wind. For that reason, Fortune Lady is capable of taking on either a power deck or stall deck.

To sum it up,

Fortune Lady Light --> Deck searcher and swarm
Fortune Lady Fire --> Counter attack and effect damage
Fortune Lady Wind --> Back row cleaner
Fortune Lady Water --> Draw power
Fortune Lady Dark --> Massive swarm
Fortune Lady Earth --> Power house and continuous effect damage

Fortune Lady receive excess draw power from Fortune Lady Water and also Fortune's Future. The easiest trick to draw more cards easily, is by combining Fortune's Future after activating Gold Sarcophagus. Activate Gold Sarcophagus to remove 1 Fortune Lady from your deck, it should be added to your hand after 2 turns, but if you activate Fortune's Future to return the removed Fortune Lady back to your grave to draw 2 cards. So roughly, after activating these two card effects, the result is the same as activating Foolish Burial and Pot of Greed.

Since that both Fortune's Future and Gold Sarcophagus is not in the Banlist, so you can put 3 copy each (if desired), indirectly it is almost the same like having 3 Pot of Greed and 3 Foolish Burial in your deck.

By focusing on Fortune Lady Light as the key card, you can easily call out any Fortune Lady from your deck to the field and activate their effects. Since that draw power and deck searcher is high, thinning your deck is not a problem at all.

Wattpheasant can attack directly and afterwards remove Fortune Lady Light you control to activate its effect to call out any Fortune Lady from your deck. Since that the Fortune Lady Light removed by this effect is returned during the end phase, you can continuously use this combo each turn only if you manage to protect your Fortune Lady Light as it is a very weak monster and definitely vulnerable to opponents attack.

You can abuse the swarming capability of spellcaster type Fortune Lady Monster to include in Sorcerer of Dark Magic. A beat stickers with 3200 ATK and ability to negate trap activation.

It might hurt the swarming a bit, but if you can summon it to the field, then trap cards is no longer a threat to you. Except counter trap of course, as counter trap cards can only be negated by other counter trap cards. Since that all Fortune Lady's level will increase each turn, so, all Fortune Lady is a viable tribute cost for special summoning this card, which is 2 level 6 or higher Spellcaster type monster. But definitely will be harder for Fortune Lady Fire's and Fortune Lady Light's level to increase until 6 to be tributed for the cost as they are quite weak in term of ATK and DEF.

Scrap

Scrap is an archtype that focuses on self destruction and despite their name "Scrap" and their appearance, only some of them are machine types such as Scrap Mind Reader and Scrap Breaker. A pure Scrap deck can be considered stable enough to compete with a strong meta-deck like Blackwing, Lightsworn and Six Samurai but I guess it is still outmatched by them.

All Scrap tuners has an effect that is triggered if they were destroyed by the effect of Scrap cards, including destroyed by their own effects because it is still considered Scrap card due to the name that consist the "Scrap" word. Up till now, Scrap has only 4 synchro monsters as their ace, but only 2 of them are mostly used which is Scrap Dragon and Scrap Twin Dragon while Atomic Scrap Dragon is seldom used due to the requirements that needs at least 2 non-tuners which makes it difficult to summon it, plus due to its effect that not always useful to compare to Scrap Dragon and Scrap Twin Dragon despite being the strongest of all 4 of them. While the new release, Scrap Archfiend can be summon easily by using Scrap Chimera and Scrap Goblin but due to it being a non-effect synchro monster similar to Gaia Knight - The Force of Earth and Naturia Leodrake, it only serves as a quick power house rather than full Scrap deck support.

There are many non-Scrap card that boost the capability of Scrap deck such as Geartown and Ancient Gear Gadjiltron Dragon for an instant 3000 ATK beat stick with the ability to seal spells and traps when it attacks. Destroying Geartown for Scrap Dragon's and Scrap Twin Dragon's effect is the most common combo used. There are other cards that their effects will triggered when destroyed, such as Limiter overload, Widespread Dud, Wild Tornado and Blast With Chain. Limiter Overload is definitely not a favorite as it doesn't serve Scrap deck that much as it just special summon Speed Warrior from your deck, hand or grave when it is sent to grave. Contrary to Widespread Dud, Wild Tornado and Blast With Chain where their effects definitely gonna come in handy when combined with Scrap Dragon or Scrap Twin Dragon. The very first Scrap monster card that was released is Scrap Recycler, but this card doesn't quite helpful to be used in Scrap deck, I'll say it is way better to include it in a Gadget deck rather than Scrap despite having the word "Scrap" in its name, it is still treated as Scrap card, but doesn't serve Scrap deck that much good.

Some people like to include the Meklord Series in Scrap Deck to further improve number of easy beat stick as Scrap focuses on self destruction, and if the the destroyed card is a monster card, certainly it will trigger the effect of either one of the trio Meklord monster, Meklord Emperor Granel, Meklord Emperor Wisel and Meklord Emperor Skiel. Though Meklord Emperor Skiel is not a favorite to include in this deck as its effect prevent other monster you control from attacking and being one of the trio with the lowest ATK. Meklord Emperor Wisel also has the effect that seal your other monster from attacking, but due to its effect that is able to negate the activation of opponent's spell card once per turn, it serves as a partial Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En in Scrap deck and definitely gives your opponent a hard time just to destroy it.

Another card that support Scrap deck is Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest. As it seems that most of the level 4 Scrap monster are beast type, focusing in summoning Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest is not a bad idea. Beast deck properties have a massive draw power gained from cards like Horn of the Phantom Beast and Beast Burial Ritual. Both of these cards is advised to be included in such deck in addition to the existing Scrapstorm that serves as the self-destruction, draw power and deck search when combined with Scrap tuners.

The above deck is used by Andre in Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force 6, after certain modification of course, because this is taken from his 4th deck as it is set when you include a forbidden card in your deck while he actually uses a lot of forbidden card in this deck such as 3 Graceful Charity for extra draw power and dump Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest and also 3 Foolish Burial to easily send Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest to grave or Scrap Monster. As you can see, from the way it looks, this deck doesn't utilize the Scrap synchro's ability at all just to maintain the fact that this deck is fully beast monsters making all monster cards are power houses due to Solidarity.

Such deck is a double-edge sword as it doesn't provide you with a strong back rows that can save you from opponents counter attack even if it does give you a massive ATK boost.

Due to such weakness, I edited this deck from being a full fledge beast type Scrap deck to a mostly beast type Scrap monster deck that can utilize the Scrap synchro's effect.

I included Destruct Potion to give this deck a bit of an endurance especially after using Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest's effect for so many times. The Rank 4 xyz monster included is due to the easiness of swarming two level 4 monsters on the field, especially by Scrap Chimera's effect, but I strongly suggest that you go for synchro summoning Scrap Dragon instead of xyz summon a Rank 4 xyz monster. Horn of the Phantom Beast is for surprise ATK boosters and draw power while Scrapstorm and Beast Burial Ritual are also for draw power, but can be chain to waste opponents card like Mirror Force, Dark Hole, Dimensional Prison etc.

Dragunity

Dragunity is an wind attribute archtype consist of dragon and winged-beast type monsters. Dragunity appears as a dragon riders where the tuners are among the level 3 or lower dragons, whereas the riders are winged-beast type and non-tuner. Dragunity has it own synchro monsters, which is 5 of them, which is Dragunity Knight - Gae Bulg, Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg, Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana, Dragunity Knight - Trident and Dragunity Knight - Barcha. However, Dragunity doesn't rely fully on synchro summon as the monsters can stand on its own. For example like Dragunity Dux for level 4 power house and Dragunity Legionaire for destructive effect.

Most people say that Dragunity is like a newer version of union monster, where the non-tuners will be equip by the tuners which is the dragons symbolized that the non-tuners (winged-beast) is riding the tuners (dragon). Dragunity relies a lot on sending it tuners to the graveyard so that the non-tuners such as Dragunity Dux and Dragunity Legionaire can bring them back to the field as equip card, as each of the Dragunity tuners have their own effect when equipped to a Dragunity monster. Dragunity is one of the archetype that can be considered complete where it can stand on its own. Means that a pure Dragunity deck is strong enough to take on most of the high level meta deck such as Blackwing and Six Samurai.

Having winged-beast type and dragon type, Dragunity receive a lot of support from cards like Icarus Attack and Burst Breath. Another is Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi due to their attribute which is wind. Using Burst Breath is not quite effective. This is due to the dragon type tuners have a low ATK. Unless of course if you plan to use the Dragunity synchro as the cost to activate Burst Breath. That is a downside to using Burst Breath in Dragunity deck, until the release of the new ace of Dragunity, an effect monster which is dragon type non-tuner, Dragunity Arma Leyvaten and Dragunity Arma Mystletainn. This summoning condition for these two card is quite easy, making them a pretty good cost for the activation of Burst Breath, especially Dragunity Arma Leyvaten. A beat stick with 2600 ATK, if use for the cost of activating Burst Breath, most high level monster such as Red Dragon Archfiend will be destroyed. Afterwards it can be easily summon back by removing 1 monster you control equipped with a Dragunity card.

Dragunity also receive excess draw power from Cards of Consonance due to the major appearance of dragon type tuner monsters with 1000 ATK or less such as Dragunity Phalanx and Dragunity Aklys. Dragunity also receive draw power from Trade-In where you can discard Dragunity Arma Leyvaten to grave to draw 2 cards. Dragunity Arma Leyvaten effects can be activate from either hand or grave, so, sending it to grave to draw more cards has no down side at all. Along with the release of Dragunity Arma Leyvaten, the field card of Dragunity is also released, Dragon Ravine, which gives you the ability to discard 1 card to either add 1 level 4 or lower Dragunity monster from your deck to your hand or send 1 dragon type monster from your deck to grave. Having Dragon Ravine set up on the field definitely gives you hand advantage set your graveyard with several Dragunity tuners or Dragunity Arma Leyvaten. It's like, once per turn, you get to activate Reinforcement of the Army or Foolish Burial for Dragunity monsters. So, Including a lot of Terraforming can help you to draw Dragon Ravine to your hand and if you happen to draw all 3 Dragon Ravine before drawing all your Terraforming, it won't be a dead draw cause it can be use as a discard fodder for Dragon Ravine's effect. So, it is advised to include 3 copies of Terraforming in Dragunity deck. Just from these 3 cards, you can thin your deck super fast which improves the percentage of drawing the cards you need. Thus, including Pot of Avarice can gives you even more draw power and recycle Dragunity Dux and Dragunity Legionaire back to your deck so that you can use their effect again.

A pure Dragunity deck is quite strong to take on many other strong deck. However, it has low flexibility due to the requirement to set up some tuners in your grave and some tuners in your hand. Dragunity doesn't have super powerful cards that can match cards like Shooting Star Dragon, Red Nova Dragon or Tech Genus Blade Blaster, but it does have 5 synchro with different abilities. Dragunity Knight - Gae Bulg is for battle, Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg is for hand control and grave set up, Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana is for instant powerhouse and Dragunity synchro with the ability to equip tuners from grave, Dragunity Knight - Trident is to attack opponents extra deck and Dragunity Knight - Barcha is to gain the ability of as many the tuners' effect as it can equip as many as possible Dragunity tuners and it gain 300 ATK for each monster equipped.

This deck focused on summoning Red Nova Dragon. This deck has the easiest way to summon Red Nova Dragon in one turn as it only requires you to have 1 Dragunity Dux and 1 Inferno Reckless Summon in your hand. you will need to have 3 Dragunity phalanx in order for this to work, and 1 of them have to be sent to grave first. So, the set up is, 1 Dragunity Dux and 1 Inferno Reckless Summon in your hand, at least 1 Dragunity Phalanx in your grave, 1 Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana in your extra deck and opponent need to control at least 1 face up monster. This is easily setup by Dragon Ravine, as if you didn't draw Dragunity Dux to your hand, you can add it to your hand by discarding 1 card, you might draw Dragunity Phalanx, so Dragunity Phalanx can be used as the discard fodder to add Dragunity Dux to your hand. all you need is to draw Inferno Reckless Summon. if you include 3 of them in your deck, it shouldn't be hard to draw.

Once everything is in order, all you need to do is normal summon Dragunity Dux and when its effect kicks in, select Dragunity Phalanx in your grave and equip to it. Then, activate the equipped Dragunity Phalanx's effect to special summon it to the field. Then tune both Dragunity Dux and Dragunity Phalanx to synchro summon Dragunity knight - Vajrayana. When synchro summoned, Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana's effect will activate, select the Dragunity Phalanx in your grave to equip to this card. Then once again activate the equipped Dragunity Phalanx effect to special summon it to the field, but this time when it is successfully special summoned, activate Inferno Reckless Summon to summon 2 more Dragunity Phalanx from your deck, hand or grave. This gives you with 3 Dragunity Phalanx and 1 Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana. Tune Dragunity Knight - Vajrayana with 1 Dragunity Phalanx to synchro summon Red Dragon Archfiend. Then tune Red Dragon Archfiend to the remaining 2 Dragunity Phalanx to synchro summon Red Nova Dragon. Red Nova Dragon gain extra 500 ATK x the number of tuners in your grave. So, from this combo, Red Nova should at least have 5000 ATK. Since that, Dragunity deck rely a lot on sending tuners to grave and it can be send easily due to the effect of Dragon Ravine, you can power up Red Nova Dragon each turn. Note that you can only use this combo if your opponent controls at least 1 monster and you need to have at least 4 free space of monster card zone. From this combo, you can see that Dragunity also provides the easiest way to summon a level 8 synchro monster such as Red Dragon Archfiend and Stardust Dragon just by using 1 Dragunity Dux from your hand.

Five-Headed Dragon

This Dragunity deck focused on the usage of Dragunity Arma Leyvaten as it has an infinite loop of special summoning when combined with Light and Darkness Dragon. Dragunity Arma Leyvaten has an easy summoning condition. In order for this combo to work, you will need Light and Darkness Dragon in your grave. The easiest to set up this combo is by activating Future Fusion, target Five-Headed Dragon in your extra deck, and send at least 1 Dragunity Arma Leyvaten, 1 Light and Darkness Dragon and the other 3 should be 3 different Dragunity tuners which should be Dragunity Phalanx, Dragunity Aklys and Dragunity Corsesca. With this, in the next two turn, Five-Headed Dragon should be coming, and the set up for infinite special summon loop of Dragunity Arma Leyvaten is done. If you activate Future Fusion, it is advised that you don't summon Dragunity Arma Leyvaten yet, unless if Future Fusion is destroyed by your opponents card effect.

To summon Dragunity Arma Leyvaten back from your grave, you can either use Monster Reborn or you can just summon Dragunity Dux or Dragunity Legionaire. Dragunity Arma Leyvaten can be special summon from hand or grave by removing 1 face up monster you control equipped with Dragunity cards. After Dragunity Arma Leyvaten is summoned, activate its effect to equipped Light and Darkness Dragon from your grave. From this moment on, if your Dragunity Arma leyvaten is destroyed or leaves the field, Light and Darkness Dragon will also be destroyed, triggering its effect to let you select 1 monster in your grave, destroy all cards you control and special summon that monster. That's why if you activate Future Fusion, it is advised that you hold on the summoning of Dragunity Arma Leyvaten unless of course if you don't mind losing a 5000 ATK beat stick like Five-Headed Dragon by your own card effect.

Due to the loop from Dragunity Arma Leyvaten and Light and Darkness Dragon, activating cards like Burst Breath and Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi is becoming more effective as the monster you tribute for the cost of activating those cards will be revived back. You are tributing Dragunity Arma Leyvaten and as it leaves the field, Light and Darkness Dragon equipped to it will be destroyed, triggering its effect again.
