- ATK -> Attack points
- DEF -> Defense points
- OTK -> One Turn Kill (win during the turn you first inflict damage on opponent)
- FTK -> First Turn Kill (goes first in the game and win)
- Nomi -> Monster that only be summon by specific way.
- Semi-Nomi -> Same as Nomi, but can be special summon by other effects once summoned specifically as long as it remain in grave or banished.
- Staples - Cards that work wonders no matter in which deck it is in.

Below is some basic abbreviations and phrases in the game, some might be made up by myself for easy typing. :D
